Social Distancing Fail

My neighborhood is one big family, in fact, I call some of my neighbors my aunts and uncles. During the self-quarantine and the at home order, we decided to change it to a “stay in the hood” quarantine. The past few days, we’ve had dinner at a new person’s house and then the next day they also serve breakfast for the guests.
Each night we would gather for dinner at 4:30pm and quickly eat so that we could move on to the fun stuff (although, I do love eating). Once we are finished eating, we all pitch in to wash the dishes and clean the kitchen. After, we move into the garage or basement depending on the house (everyone in the neighborhood either has a hangout in the basement or the garage for our awesome get togethers). This is when the disco lights come on, the music gets blasted and the dance moves are busted out. We dance, laugh and joke all night with each other, sometimes the party would be moved into a hot tub or in the backyard for a bonfire.

The next morning, the same house from the night before would host breakfast, normally only consisting of biscuits and gravy, which is fine with me! Usually breakfast would last pretty fast, more like a eat and run. We would go home right after to get ready for the next dinner that night!
As much as I want to agree and say this quarantine thing sucks, mine has been too much to even think about boring.
