How to Deal with Mean Girls at School

     Mean girls can make your teenage years a living hell, but I know of a few ways to help you deal with them at school. I’m sure we all know the movie “Mean Girls” and that although it is very much over exaggerated, they didn’t do too bad of a job at depicting the average popular mean girl clique. 




     I know the easiest way to deal with someone who is un kind is either to snap back at them or completely ignore them. Now trust me, I always wanted to be that girl who snapped back, but what’s the point of calling them a mean girl if you’re going to be one too just to get back at them? 

     Dealing with means girls can be tricky but its actually pretty easy, no need to fly under the radar or even pretend they don’t exist because high school isn’t going to fun if you’re constantly avoiding people. 

***First off if there is something serious going on and it’s not just a mean girl in passing, please tell an adult. I know this may seem childish, but I promise that if its out of hand, they will help you. 

    ♡ Just remember that they really just want to get a reaction out of you, do not take their bait because that will give them more to go off of. Most popular girls feed on drama so they have to stir the pot and cause drama sometimes, help to remind yourself that what they are saying probably is not true. 

    ♡ You can be friendly to them without being friends, keep conversations short and to the point when you do need to talk for school reasons. Keep all interactions professional around her or them because acting unprofessional and emotional towards the situation can just add tension or reasons to continue the drama. 


    
     If telling a teacher or principal is something, you’re uncomfortable with, then confide in someone you can trust to vent to but know that they will keep it to themselves. This could be a best friend, sibling, or even a parent who can even give you more specific advice to your situation.

    This blog is spot on with what your blog is all about.. girl talk! I think you said some really good points that could truly help someone dealing with mean girls. It's so sad that people, especially girls, have to act in such a way to put others down. Keep up the great advice!

How to Keep Yourself Busy While at Home from School

We all know what pandemic the world is in right now and were soon to be stuck to our homes. Away from school, friends and sports, I’m sure you’re asking, “what do I do now?”. Since I’ve been home the past few days and spent the first online schooling day in my room, I realized how much goes on at school and how little happens in my hometown of Monroe, Michigan. Knowing that I’ll need to occupy myself until the end of the school year as at home, now, online student, I’ve come up with some things I can do make time pass until this whole craziness is over.  1.       Personally, I already have a YouTube channel, so I’ll be able to post a lot more, more often and better content. Final Week Stress Help

Currently I am writing this blog during dead week, the week of stress and preparation for the hell week to follow. In five days, I will be doing nothing but exams and crying over the unknown answers and lack of time to cram in my last-minute studying. Luckily, because schools have been shut down for Corona, we all have an advantage this finals week. Unfortunately, we do still have the finals though and it still can be stressful. As the last two weeks of the semester start to fly by, you realize all the work you have put off till the last minute is getting in your way of studying for your exams.  My tip for last minute freak outs at the end of the semester is to PLAN. Sitting down with a blank piece of paper, planner, or calendar and simply figuring out what day things are due and what days you can do the work can make the stress nearly disappear.
